You will find these tips useful for selling your home.

 Preparation For Showing

First impressions are lasting. The font door greets the prospect. Make sure it is fresh and clean, paint if needed. Keep the lawn mowed and trimmed, and free of trash.

Clean siding or paint exterior if needed.

How's the roof? Be sure it's in good repair or replace if needed.

Be sure your home smells good. Smoke and pet odors are a turn-off.

Pay attention to the kitchen - this room is the most important. Display as much counter space as possible. Unclutter the refrigerator.

Bathrooms are important. Check and repair grout, tile, and caulking.

Let the sun shine in!! Open curtains and blinds and let the prospect see how cheerful your home can be.

Repairs can make a big difference. Dripping faucets, loose knobs, sticking doors and windows, and other minor flaws detract from the home's value. Have them fixed.

How are the walls and ceilings? Fresh paint offers the best return on your money and gives the home a clean smell.

Display the full value of your attic, basement, and other storage space by removing unnecessary articles.

Make closets look bigger. Neat, well ordered closets show that the space is ample. Do not overcrowd.

Arrange bedrooms neatly. Remove excess furniture. Use attractive bedspreads and nice curtains.

Illumination is like a welcome sign. The potential buyers will feel more at home when you turn your lights on before showings.
